If you have been watching The Quest on Thursday nights (8PM on ABC), you know this has been quite a trying season for the contestants. It has also been an entertaining one for the viewers. Actors like Douglas Tait have been doing an excellent job of making us BELIEVE in the fantasy.
I know all of my Cosplay friends must be enjoying this adventure and many are probably itching to get on the show. If we all watch and tweet on Thursday, September 11th, the possibility of a season two will be greater and the chances for others to join in the fun will continue!
Here are a few things I am loving about the show:
- We all LOVE the Paladins, who have emerged as true heroes in this real life fairy tale.
- The elaborate details of the Monsters and costumes - HELLO, Cosplay fans EVERYWHERE!
- It has been a season of trials, revelations, and growth. In the season finale, the true Hero will be revealed.
- This show is a perfect mix of reality TV and a complete fantasy world the viewers have been granted access to!
- It would really be fantastic to see a season two so that others may have the chance to live out their fantasies as contestants in the world of "Everealm"
- BONUS reason, the CAST, CREATORS, FANS, and PRODUCERS have been very active on twitter and if you tweet while you watch, you are sure to get in on some amazing interactions!
Have you been following the story of The Quest? Who is your choice as winner? What have you enjoyed most about it? Would you go on as a contestant?
With the Fall TV season upon us, the networks have released their schedules and the time has come for us to make those tough decisions. What shows will we watch? Which will we record to watch later? And now, we even have to choose the shows we will Tweet during.
With Cable and the Internet come a whole new crop of possibilities as well. What did we do before we had DVRs? I remember recording shows on a VCR or having to miss them all together but you could always catch them in reruns over the summer. In the current state of television, it isn't always possible to rely on summer reruns because many networks are airing original programing pretty much year round.
After looking at the upcoming season's schedule, I see this Fall will be full of late night catch up sessions. I decided to share with you my personal choices and I invite you to tweet with me during any of the shows you will also be watching. I think entertainment, especially TV, is so much more fun when we make it social.
